Welcome back to another episode of Bella in Your Business. Today we’re going to talk about seven things that AI can do for your pet business this week that you probably didn’t think of. Now guys, I think this is really, really important because I’ve been seeing people use it, but like use it at a very kindergarten level, not in elementary, middle school, high school, or dare I say collegiate level. Okay. And I’m here to up level your thinking of what is actually possible. And hopefully by the end of this episode, you’re going to have a lot of different ideas and I’m going to change your mindset slightly. That’s always my goal in everything that I do is to shift your mindset, to think bigger, think more strategic and achieve your goals faster.

So most pet businesses are like, they’re either ignoring AI, complaining about AI and I’m not even gonna go into that and I give that any life, okay? But I wanna talk to you who you feel like you’re using it every day. Maybe you have it on your phone, you have it downloaded, you talk to it all the time, you feel like you’re getting a lot from it. Harvard actually just came out with a study that people are actually more busy because of AI, because they’re not, especially a chat GPT, which is one of the reasons why I kind of broke up with them. It’s always like, well, here you go and I can do these other three things for you, which really doesn’t help the ADHD brain. What that does is it helps keep you in the loop of in their ecosystem and feeling like you’re doing so much, but you’re not actually producing a lot. And there’s a difference there. I want you to just be mindful of that.

But there are things right now that AI can do that are free that you probably haven’t considered. And so I wanna like, you peep those things to you today. They’re not fancy, they’re really practical, they’re very straightforward, anyone can do these things. So the very first one and I want you guys to hear me out because you might be like, yeah. Yeah. No I’m going to show you how to uplevel this, okay? So let’s talk about those Google reviews responses. I know some of you don’t really even pay attention to your Google reviews and others are going for 55 star reviews, 105 star reviews, 505 star reviews. And let me just set the foundation and say, if you’re not actively seeking Google reviews from your clients, you’re missing out. The Google reviews are something that AI is going to be using as one of their many tickers on who they can trust. Okay. So the more reviews you have, the better it can be for your business . can’t hurt you unless they’re a bunch of one star reviews, I suppose.

But let’s just say now we’re in the orbit of you got a five star review and most of the time people are like, thanks so much. We love taking care of buddy. You know, like, I know I need to respond. And that’s what they do. That response is a potential for another, let’s think about this, the Google My Business when you’re posting updates, hopefully weekly. Yeah, another thing you gotta do. But something that’s gonna really help you, okay? And this is AI could help you with it too. But you wanna make sure that your responses also have your keyboards in them, right?

But what happens is we either find out, my gosh, there’s some reviews. Bella, you’re just reminding me now I gotta go in and see if there’s any reviews I need to respond to, everyone always likes to be responded to. Especially the faster you can respond, the better. It just shows that you’re an active business owner. Right? Or sometimes even worse, people don’t respond at all because they didn’t have the time, they didn’t know what to say. Right? Or the negative reviews. I mean, that just cuts you to the core. Right? If someone doesn’t give you five stars, maybe they give you three or four. You’re like, what the what? Right? And it’s haunting you and you’re kind of scared to say the wrong thing back. So you just kind of let it sit there and be like, don’t address it. Nobody knows. You stick your head in the sand like a flamingo, right?

Well, what AI does do, it can write a very personalized response to every single review and you can instruct it to have the pet’s name, the reference of the service. So even if you might call it like an adventure, you want to call it a pet sit in this comment back or a dog walk because that’s what people are gonna be searching for on the internet not your cute name, all right and You want to respond to every single review? We all we all know that by now, right? We can agree on that and then you want to mention the pets name Reference this service and match the energy of the review. So if someone comes in like my god, you’re absolute best like my gosh, you’re the best too, but if someone is like hey, you did a really great job, thanks so much. You’re like, my God, you’re the best. We wanna match the response, okay?

It’s free and it takes about two minutes per review. And now Google rewards businesses that responds to reviews. So every single one of your reviews right now, go check. You need to make sure they’re all responded to. It will help with your SEO. You will show up higher in searches and potential clients will read your responses. And even when it’s a negative review, it shows how you show up in adverse times. Okay, is this a business that I wanna do business with? Because they handled a icky situation very respectfully and heard the person and just really addressed them, right? They were seen and heard. Or were they a-holes? And were just like, you have to remember that every negative review, you’re actually not responding to them, you’re responding to everyone who’s ever gonna see it for years to come.

Okay, just something to think about. And sometimes that does happen because we’re not perfect or our team isn’t perfect. I have a prompt and I have a prompt for every single one of these and I’m gonna drop them inside the community to reward them because what we do here is we tell you what you should be doing and then we break down the how inside the community. The next one is pretty fun and I bet you haven’t heard about this one and I bet you haven’t thought about this one. You’re gonna audit your website like a customer because AI can go and read through your website, okay? And so maybe you built your website and you think it’s good, but you’re too close to it, right? Or your husband or your friend or your cousin or your aunt or your uncle. I’ve heard this everywhere, okay? Or maybe you did hire someone professionally, but they were just a designer. They weren’t like in charge of sales or copy or messaging. Because as we know, a website is like a house, right? You can’t have a plumber making the frame of the house and you can’t have a plumber painting the house. You need all these different people.

But AI allows you to bring in these different people. So we’re bringing in the salesperson to your website right now, right? Maybe you know your offer, so you assume the website says it clearly, but does it? And most pet business websites leave potential clients with even more questions, okay? Now, AI comes into this and you can copy and paste your entire homepage into chat or Claude personally, I love Claude. Second, you can ask it to pretend it’s a pet owner looking for a pet sitter or dog walker and tell it what questions it has for you after still reading your website.

Now, if this is, if you have already done the kindergarten level work of doing avatars and having an avatar GPT, which is what I teach in the mastermind under 20 minutes, I actually have a GPT you can work through and get your avatar. You could even say, you could put that avatar on and you could say, hey, avatar, go through my website and what questions do you still have for me? Because now it’s not a potential client, it’s literally your avatar going through your website. Do you guys see how we are stacking knowledge on top of each other? That’s where AI starts becoming really strategic and lethal, okay? And that’s where a lot of people are missing out on. This is why I’m doing this episode today.

Every question on your website is a potential client who clicks away to your competitor. OK. And this is something you would literally pay a marketing consultant hundreds or thousands of dollars to do for you. OK. And it’s free. But most people are not using AI this way. They’re using it to rewrite this for me. Like some email. OK, guys. This is so much far beyond. Now, again, there’s a prompt for this. I’m gonna put it in the mastermind. I really hope you join us because I promise you, like, I wasn’t planning on saying this. I personally challenge you right now, if you’re listening and I’ve already given you value, imagine what kind of value I can give you in the mastermind in one month or from the 25 plus tiny 10 to 15 minute AI tutorials I have for you. Imagine how much you could up level your workflows just by getting the knowledge to be in there, getting my strategy from my head, okay?

Let’s move on. Number three, create a what to expect guide for new clients. This one is really, really easy and this is something everyone should do, okay? We wanna do this in a way that’s not overwhelming. I’m not talking about a new client packet where you overwhelm them with all of Whatever it is, a nice quick little like welcome, like guide is really cool. I’m thinking like one page max. This could be a PDF. You can add it to a welcome email and you could leave it on the counter on the first visit or the first visit or hand it to the client. Something that is tangible. That’s like, we’re so excited you worked with us and here’s some fun things you might not know.

When you frame it that way, and I used to do this in my business, it may, and you make it really easy to read. I’m talking like headers and like one sentence. That’s it. No paragraphs, nothing that’s overwhelming. You got to make it really unique to yourself. I’m thinking about Becky and powers around Motown where she might say, Hey, you joined us as a dog walking client, but now did you know that that automatically makes you a VIP client? And that means that you get to access our pet sitting services. Here’s how that works. Because she doesn’t offer pet sitting services to the general public, only the people that do her daily dog walking.

Right? So see how it’s like unique to everyone, right? So maybe like, let’s, so let’s back up. Like a new client books and then they get a calendar invite, maybe a form to fill out or your, you know, your long portal or something. And they’re wondering like, what happens on the first visit? Do I need to leave a key? Will I get a report? What if my dog freaks out? And the anxiety leads to more more emails, more texts, all these questions. You’re like, my gosh, this client is so high maintenance. They just have all these questions. Well, they have questions because they haven’t been given the answers.

And it’s your job to give them the answers, not by like making them choke on it, but like an easy pill to swallow, literally, okay? And so what AI can do is you can dump all of this information into it and you can say, create a what to expect guide that’s easily scannable or something like that, right? And that’s not the exact prompt I have for you. The exact prompt’s a little bit longer and more precise, but that’s generally what you can do. And you can turn every question into an answer before they even ask it.

Now, what happens? What happens when you have an exchange with a company and all of a sudden you realize they are anticipating and answering your questions before you even had them or had to ask them? What happens? Your trust goes up, right? So when your trust goes up, the wallet opens, all right? And it’s gonna just really, really make you appear exactly how you say you are, which is a professional and go above and beyond. This is being above and beyond, y’all. Like, do it.

All right, number four, right? Job ads that filter out the wrong people. I talked about this in the last episode. One of the steps in my 10 step jump hiring method that’s worked for hundreds of people all around the country is to write a love letter, AKA a job ad. And most of the time people just stop because they hate the job ad. And that takes all their creativity and they stall out there and then the rest of the process just falls apart. And it’s a horrible, horrible feeling process. It’s stale, it’s corporate, it’s just ugh, right?

Well, now you’re hiring. You post, we’re hiring pet sitters on Indeed or Facebook, or hopefully you go to Breezy now, which is jumpconsulting.net forward slash Breezy. They’re an applicant tracking system that is really cost effective for pet sitters out there. JazzHR went up to like $350 a month. It was insane. And so maybe you’ll get like 50 applications and like 45 of them are completely wrong, but you just spent 45 applications going through them, okay?

You spent all this time reading the resumes and doing interviews with people that will never work out, all because your love letter was incorrect, right? It attracted warm bodies, but not the right people. So what AI will do is it’ll write the job with your personality. Hopefully you’re gonna use your brand GPT. I teach that in the mastermind. I’m sorry guys, I am not sitting here trying to pitch you all these things, but what’s happening now is we are starting to stack knowledge. Last year we built the foundation for AI. And if you haven’t built your foundation, I’m assuming on this call, because I’m not gonna stay at this remedial level, I’m assuming, not this call, this podcast, I’m assuming that you’ve already built your basic AI foundation.

Because once you have that, we can build off of it. And this is an example. So we’re gonna use our brand voice, our brand GPT, combined with our employee avatars to create these job ads. Do you understand what I’m saying? If you don’t, message me. I’m everywhere on the internet, okay? And I can break it down more for you. But ask AI to write the ad in a way that attracts someone who you’re looking for in your voice, okay? Most people Just open up Chad GPT, maybe they pay for it, and they say, hey, using everything you know about me, please write me a hiring ad. It’s not gonna be that great, guys. It’s not, because you haven’t done the foundation to get it right, okay?

Every bad interview is your time, your energy, and your mental space. It’s what makes you feel more and more depressed. It’s what forces you to write and say online and I cringe every time I hear someone say there’s no one to hire Nobody wants to work You know what that tells me tells me that your hiring system stinks. There’s a better word for that, but making it PG here. Okay. I’m trying to save you hours of wasting your time I’ve got another really great prompt for this. I will add it to the prompt list Now number five is turn one piece of content into 10. And this is a problem that a lot of people don’t do.

I see a lot of people posting slop. It’s just generic GPT stuff. has dashes . has, it’s not this, it’s that. Or like all of this AI jargon, okay? We are all as a society, we all subconsciously know when it’s AI now. We just do. So while you think that you’re getting stuff out there, you’re not . and all of the people that are posting all of these graphics and these carousel graphics, like stop the madness. How many people are interacting with you on those? Are those your most interacted, engaged things? I guarantee you they’re not. I will bet you $100, I will bet you one month in the mastermind if you can show me that your carousel, your graphic carousel is the best engaged thing.

I will give you a free month in the mastermind . put my money where my mouth is. I’m serious, you guys. I want you to stop the madness. I want you to stop paying people to do things that used to work in 2022, okay? Turn one piece of content into 10, all right? So let me do, let me take this one thing. The best place for you to go, there’s actually one place, which is your FAQs. And you can go right down the line on each one of them. Each one of those you could create 10 pieces of content from. And you get the AI to help you do that but you have to tell it, hey, I wanna do a reel and this is the kind of reel I wanna do, or this is the kind of carousel I wanna do, or this is the kind of story I wanna do, or this is the kind of Facebook post I wanna do, or this is the kind of LinkedIn post I wanna do, or this is the kind of email I want to send to my clients.

There’s so many things that you can do. Facebook group post, a next door post, all from one piece of content, but unfortunately, somewhere along the line, We got in our heads that we have to be recreating all this new content. When was the last time you reposted something that really worked from three plus months ago? A lot of people don’t even reuse their own content. Okay? That’s a whole other show. That’s a whole other story. This is why I have Marketing with Bella. Again, I’m not pitching. I’m just saying I literally understand every single problem that you guys have.

I’ve been doing this 20 years and there are solutions for this but this is a big problem that you’re making. And this on a very small level scale, you can take one piece of content and you can prompt AI to give you 10 more pieces of that content. So let’s say you want to post once a day for 30 days. You need three pieces of solid content to be changed 10 times. Okay? So take one thing you’ve already created. Maybe it’s a blog. Okay? A podcast episode. Well, you guys don’t do podcast episodes. A long Facebook post, even a client email that you might’ve written.

Those are really good. Those are gold mine. If you just go through your scent folder, use Gemini. I don’t think you’re ready for that yet. And you paste the transcript in a post and ask for five social media captions, three email subject lines, two Instagram story ideas. I mean, this is very, very generic what I’m telling you. I have an even better prompt that I’ll add to the list, okay? So if you’re a Mastermind member, guys, you guys are gonna make out like bandits right now. If you’re not, that’s okay. Maybe you don’t want to be. I don’t know why you don’t want to be.

Actually, can I challenge you again? If you don’t want to be in the Mastermind community, can you tell me why? I won’t take it personally. I’m genuinely curious. If there is something that, like, if you were to go to Vegas and put down $100, and I’m gonna give you back $1,000, wouldn’t you want to put down $100? Sounds like a no-brainer to me. But I’m genuinely curious because maybe I’m missing something. Maybe. Should I go down that rabbit hole? I think why I’m really fired up a lot, okay, yeah. Because you guys are my podcast listeners. I’ll give you a little insight.

And I teased it a little bit last episode. I’m on chapter five of 12 chapters of a book that I’m gonna be releasing. And it is all about how a lot of Mastermind members started January 25th all the way to December 25th and how far they’ve come with AI and their struggles and the light bulbs and how they’ve integrated it into their employees and how they’ve been leaders and how they found all these different ways to use it and all the different time, money, energy it’s saved and the excitement and the creativity it’s given them. So. I am, when I’m not on this podcast, I think my brain is really full of all of the amazing stories and the amazing, the, the, the profound impact that these strategies have had on people, which is why I’m probably going a little bit too hard on this podcast right now.

Tell me what’s keeping you from joining the mastermind. All right, number six, build an FAQ doc you never have to answer again. I literally have a training on this in the mastermind. But the pain point, you answer the same question over and over and over again. Guys, anytime you’re answering the same question over and over again, you need an SOP and then that SOP needs to be a GPT.

That’s as simple as it is. And this is so simple. Like I could literally do this with you on a 20 minute call. So like, what’s your service area? Do you administer medication? What about the holidays? How far advanced do I need to book? Every time you answer an email, it’s five or 10 minutes of your time and that adds up, okay? That is emotional labor that takes you away from being on top of your business and growing your business. That is one of the things that drains you from your business . hate to be the bearer of bad news.

Where you spend your time matters. I can tell you how successful or unsuccessful you’re gonna be based off of where you’re spending your time. Okay, so AI could take your last 20 emails, that means going into your sent box, or DMs, texts, doesn’t matter, paste them all into AI. Tell it to analyze it, ask it to identify the top 10 questions people keep asking and draft the answers in your voice. This is very basic level, okay? You could do this on a free account. I’m gonna show you how to up-level it, but once you have all those questions, those also should be added to your FAQs on your page or on the post.

And it matters because it saves you every single week going forward. And then those FAQs become social media posts or reels. It’s that easy, guys. I think way too many people are making more work for themselves by not having this awakening and understanding workflows and systems. Okay? You can put it on your website and you’ll get fewer of those emails in the first place. People want to get all their information on a website. When was the last time you said, oh, I can’t wait to call the plumbing company and ask them all these questions. I want them to sign up with you site unseen.

You have your meet and greet. Some of you, a lot of you still do meet and greets. There’s probably about 20 % of you who don’t even do meet and greets anymore because your system is so amazing. All right, I know you feel different. Okay, we’re gonna round up to the last one. I no idea where I am on the time. I’m having way too much fun. I also, of course, I have a prompt for every single one of these, okay? And I will put it in the mastermind. Mystery shop your competitors. Ooh, baby.

This is gonna be really eye-opening, actually. So you know you should be looking at what your competitors are doing, but who has time to go through their website, their social media, their Google reviews, or on the opposite side, maybe you’re obsessed with it and you’re trying to be better than them of time and you’re just consumed by it. And even if you did look at them, you don’t really know what to look for. And so what AI can do is it can copy, you copy your competitor’s websites, homepages, their Google listings, their social media, right? And then paste it into AI and then ask, what is this business doing better than a business that you offer, like your services?

Are they communicating something that I am not? Like compare them. Where are they weak? Where are they stronger than me? And it matters because you don’t have to copy them, but you need to know what you’re up against. You need to know as a consumer, if someone’s calling your company and another company or email, okay, what kind of experience are they getting from these other people? Most of them are just reading off a Cheesecake Factory menu, which is super long and like it floods you out and you get paralyzed in the in paralysis analysis, But do it for two or three competitors.

I have been telling people to do this for 15 years since I launched my phone sales script class that’s on my website. And every single time someone has done that, I’ve always gotten emails saying, my gosh, Bella, that was the best exercise ever. I can’t believe what my competitors are not doing, okay? So if you want like an ego boost, do that. And of course there’s a prompt. All right guys, so those are the seven things that you can do this week. Let me review my notes for you. It is number one, write Google review responses, audit your website like a customer, create a what to expect guide for new clients, write job ads that filter out the wrong people, turn one piece of content into 10, build an FAQ doc that you never have to answer again, and mystery shop your competitors.

No longer are we trying to convince people to use AI. People are using it now. They’re just not all using it properly. It’s like using a cell phone only to call someone and not doing email pictures, social media, sending messages, like all of those things. You have a choice and you need a watering hole from someone who understands exactly what it’s like for a service based business to use it. I call myself the strainer.
